Privacy Policy
Injury Relief Hub (“Injury Relief Hub,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website injuryreliefhub.com and related marketing pages. We provide a free informational and referral / lead-generation marketing service related to workplace injuries and workers’ compensation topics in the United States. We are not a law firm and not an insurance company.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard personal information, and the choices available to you, including rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).
1. Information we collect
We may collect the following categories of information:
- Identifiers and contact data you submit through forms, such as name, phone number, email address, and ZIP / postal code.
- Inquiry details, including optional injury type or free-text notes you choose to provide about a workplace injury or workers’ compensation question.
- Internet / device data, such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring URLs, pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP, and timestamps.
- Cookies and similar technologies used for site functionality, analytics, and marketing measurement (see Cookies below).
- Communications you send us by email or phone, including privacy requests to privacy@injuryreliefhub.com.
Please do not submit sensitive medical diagnoses, Social Security numbers, or full claim files through our public web forms. If a partner later requests additional information, that request is governed by that partner’s own privacy practices.
2. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Respond to your request for information or a referral;
- Match your inquiry with relevant third-party partners (for example, safety, medical, legal, insurance, or benefits organizations) when appropriate;
- Operate, secure, debug, and improve our website and marketing programs;
- Measure campaign performance and understand aggregate usage trends;
- Send service-related messages about your request;
- Comply with law, enforce our Terms, and protect our rights, users, and the public;
- Create de-identified or aggregated insights that do not reasonably identify you.
Where required, we rely on your consent (for example, when you submit a form and agree to be contacted) and on our legitimate interests in operating a referral marketing business, balanced against your privacy rights.
3. How we share information with partners and others
We may share information with:
- Referral partners — Organizations in our network (listed on our Partners page and others we work with) that may contact you about products or services related to your inquiry. Partners may compensate us for marketing leads. Their use of your information is controlled by their own privacy policies once shared.
- Service providers — Vendors that host our site, process forms, provide analytics, email/SMS/phone tools, customer support, or fraud prevention, under contracts that limit use of personal information.
- Advertising and measurement partners — Parties that help us understand which ads or pages led to inquiries, which may involve cookies or similar identifiers.
- Legal and safety disclosures — When we believe disclosure is required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, or security.
- Business transfers — In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.
We do not sell personal information for money in the traditional sense in every jurisdiction; however, under CCPA/CPRA, sharing personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or certain lead-sharing arrangements may be considered a “sale” or “sharing.” See California rights below for how to opt out.
4. Cookies, analytics, and advertising technologies
We and our vendors may use cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies to:
- Remember preferences and keep the site working;
- Understand traffic and form-completion rates;
- Measure and improve marketing campaigns;
- Limit repeated ads and detect fraud or abuse.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect site features. Industry opt-out tools (such as the Digital Advertising Alliance) and device-level ad settings may also limit interest-based advertising. These tools do not stop all first-party analytics or necessary cookies.
5. SMS, phone, and email contact
If you provide a phone number or email address and request a callback or information, you consent to be contacted about your inquiry by Injury Relief Hub and, where applicable, by matched partners, using the contact methods you provided. Message and data rates may apply for texts. You may opt out of marketing texts by following instructions in the message (for example, replying STOP) and may unsubscribe from marketing emails via the link provided. Transactional messages about an existing request may still be sent when appropriate.
6. Retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, including responding to inquiries, maintaining business records, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, and complying with legal obligations. Retention periods vary by record type and legal requirements. When no longer needed, we delete or de-identify information when reasonably feasible.
7. Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Please use unique passwords for your email accounts and contact us promptly if you believe your information was misused in connection with our services.
8. Children’s privacy
Our services are directed to adults seeking workplace injury information. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child provided information to us, contact privacy@injuryreliefhub.com and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
9. Your choices
- You may choose not to submit a form; however, we may be unable to process a referral request without required fields.
- You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information we hold, subject to legal exceptions.
- You may opt out of certain marketing communications as described above.
- California residents have additional rights described in the next section.
10. California CCPA / CPRA rights
If you are a California resident, you may have the right to:
- Know / access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collected about you;
- Know the categories of sources, business or commercial purposes, and categories of third parties with whom we disclose personal information;
- Delete personal information, subject to exceptions (for example, completing a transaction, security, free speech, or legal compliance);
- Correct inaccurate personal information;
- Opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, including for cross-context behavioral advertising;
- Limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information if we use it for purposes requiring that right (we do not seek sensitive data through our primary lead forms);
- Not be discriminated against for exercising CCPA/CPRA rights.
Categories collected (last 12 months): identifiers; customer records information (contact details); internet or electronic network activity; geolocation data (approximate); and inferences drawn from form selections (for example, injury-type interest) for referral matching. We disclose these categories to service providers and, for referral purposes, to partners as described above.
